There can be little question that Joe Biden blatantly lied to Americans about the laptop his son Hunter Biden abandoned at a Delaware repair shop. Using Russia as a diversion, he declared that the entire situation was the result of a “Russian plant.”
A report published Wednesday by The New York Times confirmed the laptop attributed to Hunter Biden is in fact authentic. The report focused on the ongoing federal investigation into Hunter Biden’s taxes and business dealings. It noted that federal officers have examined a number of emails to and from associates that came from the laptop, which have now been independently authenticated.
The corporate media dismissed the laptop in the heat of the 2020 presidential election and almost every outlet claimed that reporting in the New York Post about the matter was “unsubstantiated.”
Every major social media platform stifled the Post report or outright censored it. Twitter suspended the Post’s account. The Federal Election Commission concluded that Twitter did not violate any federal election laws by suppressing the Post’s reporting on the laptop.
The report last year from the Post indicated that the laptop contains substantial evidence that Hunter Biden used his family’s political influence in his business dealings, especially in his work on the board of Burisma Holdings, an energy company based in Ukraine.
During the 2020 election, Biden dismissed questions raised by President Donald Trump about the issues surrounding Hunter’s laptop by repeating fabrications about Russian interference in the election. He said that there are “50 former national intelligence folks” who say that the laptop is a “Russian plant.” He added that “five former heads of the CIA” say that reports about the laptop are “a bunch of garbage.”
Of course, Biden knew that the material contained on the laptop about the Biden family’s international business affairs was accurate, as has now been confirmed. He obviously knew that he would receive cover from the corporate press and that if he ever became president, his administration would run interference if any questions came up. This was clearly demonstrated last week by dependable White House press secretary Jen Psaki.
Psaki last September:
