A sweeping move from President Donald Trump has stripped security clearance from more than a dozen political figures, former officials and legal operatives. Among those named were Hillary Clinton, former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Andrew Weissman, the former lead prosecutor in the Mueller investigation.
The action was formalized in a directive that blocks these individuals from accessing classified U.S. government information or entering secure facilities. The president ordered agency heads to carry out the revocations without delay.
Donald Trump has officially stripped Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris of their security clearances.
Both have now been cut off from access to classified government information.
Neither will be authorized to handle sensitive materials moving forward. pic.twitter.com/QCghefuikO

Also named in the directive were Vice President Kamala Harris, President Joe Biden, former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan and Alexander Vindman. Clinton was listed along with Biden family members, including those with prior access through government service or private-sector roles.

New York officials Alvin Bragg and Letitia James were also targeted. The list included Fiona Hill, Adam Kinzinger, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen and Lisa Monaco — individuals who played prominent roles in investigations and impeachment efforts against Trump.
I really can't explain how relieved that makes me feel that President Trump pulled the security clearance from Hillary & Kamala. They both sold out Americans & women, in this US Vet's opinion.🙏🥳🙏

The administration’s directive makes clear that those previously granted intelligence access through private firms are no longer authorized to receive classified briefings. The memo requires that those private employers be notified.
Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, previously announced that clearances for Blinken, Sullivan, Monaco, Bragg, Weissman, Eisen and James were revoked following an internal review. That review also extended to those who signed the Hunter Biden laptop statement in 2020.
In addition, Trump revoked clearances granted to law firms. Paul Weiss reached an agreement with the administration to resolve the issue. Perkins Coie, also named in the order, has filed suit after its involvement in past political investigations was cited as a cause for concern.
