Democrat Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser stated that unvaccinated students would receive no virtual instruction options. They also cannot attend in-person classes, leaving many students no way to participate in education.
About 40% of Black students will be barred from in-person and virtual classes due to COVID vaccination rates.
“They can go to school on Monday. But they need to get their vaccinations,” Bowser told reporters, “and their families will be alerted as to the dates.”
When asked about options such as online instruction being made available to those who choose not to get the COVID shot, the liberal mayor said no such opportunity would be given.
“We’re not offering remote learning for children, and families will need to comply with what is necessary to come to school,” said Bowser.
Some 40% of Black DC public school students 12-17 will be refused education under this policy, which aims to coerce them into taking an injection that does not prevent viral transmission or infection, and which requires constant boosting. Welcome to actual vaccine apartheid. https://t.co/pPuWvnTB85

Daily Signal reporter Douglas Blair previously pressed the mayor about the high number of Black students who are not vaccinated.
“Around 40% of Black students in the district are unvaccinated and, therefore, under the district’s current policy regarding schools, will be unable to attend school,” Bair stated. “Why is the district continuing with this policy when it seems to disproportionately impact Black students?”
The mayor incorrectly responded that those numbers were inflated and tried to deflect the point.
“I don’t think that number is correct,” Bowser said. “We have substantially fewer number of kids that we have to engage with vaccination. And I explained why it’s important. It’s important for the public health of our students and that we can maintain safe environments.”
Ironically, the numbers the reporter gave came directly from Bowser’s office.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention let up on its tyrannical guidelines saying that children could return to in-person instruction. This includes kids who were exposed to COVID and no longer needed to test positive before being allowed back into classrooms.
If Republicans had rules that halted 40% of Black students from being granted educational instruction, there is no doubt that media hysteria and liberal meltdowns would ensue.
D.C.’s outrageous vaccine rules are hindering children and young adults the opportunity to learn in the classroom but also preventing them from having access to any kind of online learning as well.
