DHS Secretary Noem Confirms Leakers Identified, Warns Of Serious Consequences

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed that her department has tracked down individuals responsible for leaking sensitive information about an ICE operation in Los Angeles. The leaks exposed the details of a large-scale raid targeting criminal illegal immigrants, allowing them to evade arrest and fueling protests in sanctuary cities.

Noem, speaking on Fox News, described the leaks as an intentional effort to undermine the Trump administration’s immigration policies. “They will be fired. There will be consequences,” she said, warning that further investigations are underway.

The DHS secretary explained that polygraph tests and internal communication reviews have helped identify those who leaked operational details. Noem stressed that exposing ICE operations to the public not only disrupts enforcement efforts but also puts agents in danger.

Since President Donald Trump resumed office, his administration has taken a hard stance on immigration enforcement, reversing policies that had protected illegal immigrants under Biden-Harris leadership. The renewed ICE operations have faced pushback from sanctuary cities, where officials have tried to shield illegal immigrants from federal authorities.

Noem did not specify how many individuals have been identified but stated that DHS is committed to holding those responsible accountable. “If they are breaking the law, we are prosecuting them,” she said.

DHS has yet to release the names or agency affiliations of the individuals involved, but further information is expected as investigations continue.
