Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) was outraged over the Supreme Court of the United States’ draft opinion on Roe v. Wade, and she appeared to lose her balance while screaming outside of SCOTUS steps while speaking to protestors.
After, Warren tweeted a video of herself and said, “I am angry because an extremist Supreme Court thinks they can impose their extremist views on all of the women of this country and they are wrong. I have seen the world where abortion is illegal. We’re not going back-not now, not ever.”
One of Warren’s aides can be seen assisting her to her vehicle and Warren continues to yell while the aide tries to make sure Warren doesn’t fall to the ground. The video was posted by Willy Lowry on Twitter and he wrote, “A visibly shaken and angry Senator Elizabeth Warren just spoke in-front of #SCOTUS. @TheNationalNews.”
Hours later, Warren urged Twitter followers to donate to abortion funds saying, “If you can, please split a contribution between abortion funds in states with trigger laws that will immediately ban abortion-100% of your donation will support these grassroots groups:” Warren posted a link to an Act Blue website where people can donate. If you don’t remember Act Blue, that was where most of the Black Lives Matter donations went before the founders bought lavish homes in wealthy neighborhoods.
Chief Justice John Roberts announced that there will be a formal investigation into the source of the leak. In a statement, Roberts said, “To the extent this betrayal of the confidence of the Court was intended to undermine the integrity of our operations, it will not succeed. The work of the Court will not be affected in any way.”
Roberts said that he is “directing the Marshal of the Court to launch an investigation into the source of the leak.” This motive of the leak hasn’t been determined, but it seems that the 2022 midterm elections are part of the motive, especially since most states are currently holding primary elections.
