Florida Family Devastated After Fire Linked To Wi-Fi Router Destroys Home

A Florida mother is issuing a dire warning after her home was destroyed by a fire she believes was caused by her Wi-Fi router. Keona Huntley says the blaze left her family with nothing and hopes her story will help others avoid similar tragedies.

The fire reportedly started in Huntley’s bedroom, where her Quantum Fiber router was located. She had experienced ongoing connectivity problems, prompting several technician visits and a replacement router just two months before the incident.

When the fire broke out, it spread quickly, destroying everything in its path. Huntley shared footage of the damage, showing blackened walls, burned furniture, and debris covering every room. “We literally lost everything,” she said, adding that her three children and extended family members now have nothing to return to.

Huntley admitted she did not have renters insurance, leaving her unable to recover the value of her personal belongings. “I have to live with that guilt now,” she said, urging others to ensure they have proper coverage.

Social media users encouraged Huntley to seek legal counsel and preserve evidence of the router for fire investigators. Many suggested filing a lawsuit if the device is found to have caused the blaze. “Do not let the company remove the router before it’s inspected,” one commenter advised.

Huntley’s family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for temporary housing and essential items. Fire investigators are currently working to determine the exact cause of the fire.
