Homan Fires Back At Crockett Over Immigration Criticism

Tom Homan, chosen by President-elect Donald Trump as border czar, has pushed back against Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) after she questioned his ability to manage immigration policy. During an appearance on Newsmax, Homan defended his record and criticized Crockett’s remarks.

I forgot more about this issue than she’ll ever know,” Homan said, referring to his 34 years of experience in immigration enforcement. He argued that the American public supports Trump’s stricter approach to border security.

Crockett had criticized Trump-era immigration policies, including family separations, during a weekend MSNBC interview. Homan responded by highlighting the consequences of illegal immigration, citing violent crimes committed by individuals who entered the country unlawfully.

Homan also defended family detention as a humane and effective alternative to separation. “When I talk about family separation, what about angel moms and dads who buried their children?” he asked, referencing families of victims killed by illegal immigrants.

The border crisis has reached unprecedented levels under the Biden administration, with millions of encounters reported by U.S. Customs and Border Protection since 2021. Homan called the November election results a clear mandate for stronger border policies.

Homan reiterated his commitment to enforcing Trump’s immigration agenda, which includes mass deportations and securing the southern border to protect American communities.
