Homan Warns Illegal Immigrants: Under Trump, Deportation Is Coming

Tom Homan, who has been tapped by President Donald Trump to be the new border czar, sent a strong message to illegal immigrants in the U.S. during a recent Fox News interview. Homan stated that under the Trump administration, no illegal immigrant will be allowed to stay in the country. His remarks come as Democrats in sanctuary cities continue to fight against deportations, but Homan made it clear that the law would be enforced.

Homan argued that the priority under Trump’s second term will be deporting individuals who present a threat to public safety and national security. He questioned the logic behind sanctuary policies, asking why any politician would want to keep criminals in their communities. “What politician, whether you’re a mayor or governor, is saying, ‘No, I want public safety threats to remain in my community?’” Homan said.

The former ICE director criticized sanctuary cities for obstructing immigration enforcement, claiming they are making it harder to protect citizens. He explained that when federal officers are forced to carry out deportations, they often encounter additional illegal immigrants who are also removed, even if they weren’t initially targeted.

Homan also spoke out against the idea of granting amnesty to illegal immigrants, arguing that such measures would only invite more people to cross the border unlawfully. “If you don’t have consequences, they’re going to keep coming,” he said, emphasizing the need for a deterrent to illegal immigration.

He stressed that crossing the border without authorization is a crime and reiterated that the Trump administration will ensure the law is followed. “Every illegal alien that crossed that border committed a crime,” Homan declared, making it clear that those who break the law will face deportation.

The Trump administration’s stance on illegal immigration will be strict under Homan’s leadership. As border czar, Homan is committed to ensuring that the U.S. enforces its immigration laws, prioritizing public safety and national security.
