JOE VS JOE: Manchin Punches Back In Fight With Biden Over What He’s Pushing

When you see politicians rolling over and accepting that others are in charge, you never consider the possibility that they could join together, both parties, and stand up for something they believe in. The only fear is that the party they affiliate with will disown them and kick them out. It is happening in real-time, and it’s glorious to watch.

When President Joe Biden, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and other Democrats push forward a bill that is not good for the American people as a whole, some Democrats are willing to stand up to them and say no. The infrastructure bill isn’t going to help Americans and build jobs. It won’t even “Build Back Better.” It will line the pockets of political allies that have been placed in various parts of the government to benefit the Democrat party.

The infrastructure bill is mainly about transportation and land usage. It uselessly spends trillions of dollars that could be better spent on helping the American people or not paid at all.

Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) are standing up against Biden’s infrastructure bill and getting heat because of it.

Manchin says he won’t pass an infrastructure bill over $1.5 trillion, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s caucus said they wouldn’t give anything under $3.5 trillion. Democrats are at a stalemate, but what remains consistent is Manchin’s voting record.

Manchin said in a press conference that he’s never been a liberal, and if the people wanted more liberal Senators, they should vote for them. Nothing about Manchin is unreasonable.

Sinema also said she had given her highest number several months ago, but that didn’t matter. Sinema and Manchin’s vote is a deciding factor in the passage of the infrastructure bill, so the Democrats will have to change the account to get it. Democrats are becoming ruthless and will likely throw Manchin and Sinema under the bus if they pass the infrastructure bill. In other words, it’s not going to happen.

Both Senators have constituents to answer to. They were voted to take care of the voters’ wishes, and so far, they’re doing a good job. America needs more politicians like Manchin and Sinema to plead the voice of the people rather than play politics.

Sinema’s polling numbers are rising as she goes against Biden, and so is Manchin’s. The Democrats need to take the loss and move on because they will not convince either of these Democrats to go along with their spending bill.
