Matt Gaetz Predicts The Next Speaker Of The House

At Turning Point USA’s Amerifest, Representative Matt Gaetz predicted who would replace Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. It’s anyone’s guess, but you have to get a strong leader when taking over that seat. Also, there’s no telling how long Pelosi will hold out before she resigns or gets voted out. Either will do.

During an interview with Jordan Conradson, Gaetz spoke about the future of the Republican party.

Gaetz stated, “We are the Ascended force. The future in America doesn’t belong to the Biden’s. And frankly, it doesn’t belong to the left.”

It’s important to note that Gaetz doesn’t want to go back to the Paul Ryan days any more than the rest of us do.

Gaetz continued, “But I’m here to make sure that Republicans are worthy of the majority that I suspect we will win. And I don’t want to go back to the Paul Ryan days where we would pass bills and have the Democrat president veto them and claim that as some moral victory.”

He also said that he wants every committee in Congress to act as an oversight committee, which would put more checks and balances into a system that already has them in place. This measure would ensure that our democracy isn’t overruled by one party, idea, or opinion. It would also ensure that corruption was seen earlier and that administrations like President Joe Biden would be accountable for their wrongdoings.

Interestingly enough, Gaetz said he would nominate former President Donald Trump to be Speaker of the House and compared it to Trump being elected President to begin with and how much of an uphill battle it was.

Unfortunately, for much of the Republican party, the left has blasted their propaganda about COVID-19 and the 2020 election so much that it’s hard for some people to trust the party moving forward. There’s also an immense distrust for the Democrat party, so going into the 2022 midterm elections will be interesting. There’s going to have to be the perfect candidate. The days of putting Mitt Romney in the front are no more.

Trump may run in 2024 or not, but what’s for sure is that Trump is giving his blessing to Republicans across the country in elections, and they usually win. You can’t say the same for Biden. Most Democrats that are running don’t want him to intervene at all, which is telling.
