On Thursday, the FBI announced a $25,000 reward for information regarding a “series of attacks and threats” aimed at reproductive health service facilities nationwide. On Friday, MSNBC filtered the announcement through its liberal lens.
The radical leftist mouthpiece has never been accused of having journalistic integrity, but the network may have sunk to a new low last week.
Host Andrea Mitchell questioned former Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards about the announcement. Saying the Bureau called ten examples of recent violence “domestic terrorism,” Mitchell asked, “how concerning are these attacks and the implications for the women?”
Mitchell used the term “reproductive health care,” similar to though not exactly what the FBI described as “reproductive health services.” Mitchell’s phrase, however, coincides with how the left describes facilities that take the lives of unborn children.

Richards, of course, went right along with the host’s narrative. The abortion supporter called the attacks “horrifying” before pivoting towards blaming the Republican Party and newly enacted laws. She even referenced what she called Texas’ “bounty system” as creating fear across the nation for women.
Unfortunately for the hosts, abortion clinics were not the primary targets the FBI had in mind with the $25,000 reward.
In the agency’s own words, “today’s announcement reflects the FBI’s commitment to vigorously pursue investigations into crimes against pregnancy resource centers, faith-based organizations, and reproductive health clinics across the country.”
The agency listed 10 incidents in which it sought the public’s help in identifying those responsible for crimes. Three of them specifically targeted the Two Hearts Pregnancy Aid in Seattle, Oregon Right to Life in Portland, and the Mother and Child Pregnancy Resource Center in Portland.
In fact, of the 10 incidents the FBI sought information concerning violent acts, nine were pro-life centers. Exactly one was a Planned Parenthood facility.
Don’t tell that to MSNBC, however. Mitchell conveniently ignored that almost all the facilities under attack were pro-life. Instead, she blamed Republicans and the pro-life movement for creating a “climate of fear.” If fact-checkers cared, they would have a field day with this hypocrisy.
