Navy Veteran Receives Massive Gift From Dwayne Johnson That He’ll Never Forget

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has had an accomplished career and was out to the flames in 2020 with an endorsement for President Joe Biden. Many on the right disavowed Johnson and unfollowed him on social media and never looked back. But just because Johnson has a left-leaning view doesn’t mean you can’t credit him where it’s due.

Johnson gifted a fan with the gift of a lifetime and gifted his own personal custom truck to a veteran at the viewing of his new movie “Red Notice.”

His original idea was to give the exact vehicle he drove in the movie, a Porsche Taycan. Still, the vehicle manufacturer wasn’t down with the idea, so Johnson altered his plans.

Johnson said, “I gathered as much information as I could about everyone in the audience, and ultimately, Oscar’s story moved me.” The video on Instagram highlights the process.

In the video description, Johnson says, “Today was a good day. Merry Christmas to @coach_orod, and enjoy your new truck. I invited fans to a special theater screening of RED NOTICE, and I wanted to do something cool for all of them.”

That he did, the surprise that Oscar got when he was called out in the crowd and ultimately given the truck was unbelievable.

Johnson’s video post continued, “I also wanted to do something BIG, something MASSIVE, something unforgettable for one fan. My original idea was to give away the Porsche Taycan that I drove in the movie Red Notice. So we reached out to Porsche, but they said no. But I still said yes. I’ll do one better. I’ll give away my personal custom truck as a gift. My baby. I gathered as much information as I could about everyone in the audience, and ultimately, Oscar’s story moved me.”

The incredible generosity that Johnson showed should move everyone and allow them to open up a charity in their heart as well.

Johnson continued, “Takes care of his 75-year-old mom. Personal trainer. Leader of his church. Provides support and meals for women victimized by domestic violence. Proud & humbled Navy Veteran. A kind human being. Oscar said it right, just before he drove away. It’s just love.

They walk out to the vehicle, and Oscar is brought to tears as he realizes that Johnson is giving him the truck and even says, “I bet this is your truck, bro.” Oscar had seen Johnson with the truck on social media before and is brought to tears with the insane amount of giving that he received.

If you look around, there’s always someone you can help and someone that needs the help. Don’t take any single minute for granted, and do everything you can to help others in life. And it’s okay to look past political views and bring people together out of the kindness of your heart.
