Senator Sounds Alarm Over 50 Missing ISIS-Linked Immigrants In US

Sen. Jim Banks (R-IN) has disclosed troubling news that 50 illegal immigrants smuggled into the United States by ISIS-linked networks are missing. The information follows recent terror attacks in New Orleans and Las Vegas, heightening concerns about national security.

During a Sunday interview, Banks revealed that the Department of Homeland Security reported 400 individuals connected to ISIS crossed the southern border last year. Of those, 50 remain unaccounted for. “We don’t know where they are,” Banks said, urging immediate action.

The senator criticized the Biden administration for creating conditions that allowed terrorist networks to exploit border vulnerabilities. He expressed hope that the Trump administration, set to take office later this month, will address these issues effectively.

Banks pointed to Trump’s first-term success in eliminating the ISIS caliphate as a sign of his ability to handle such threats. He also highlighted the roles of Kash Patel and Pete Hegseth, who are expected to lead intelligence reforms under Trump’s leadership.

The announcement comes as investigations continue into New Year’s Eve attacks attributed to ISIS-inspired actors. In New Orleans, a truck attack killed 14 on Bourbon Street, while a separate incident in Las Vegas left dozens injured.

Authorities are working to locate the missing individuals and enhance border security to prevent future incidents.
