Shanahan Warns Of Justice System ‘Abuse’ In Persecution Of Trump

Nicole Shanahan, the former running mate of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has raised alarm about the justice system being manipulated to serve political ends, particularly in the ongoing legal battles against President Donald Trump. Following the news of a new grand jury indictment against Trump, Shanahan expressed her concern that the justice system is being “abused by nefarious people with malevolent political agendas.”

Shanahan, an attorney, revealed that her involvement in a New York Ballot Access case opened her eyes to the reality of political persecution. “I’ll admit I used to kind of roll my eyes when people claimed that President Trump was being ‘persecuted,’” she confessed. However, her recent experience led her to a new understanding, as she now believes that the justice system is being weaponized against political opponents.

Her comments come after she and Kennedy ended their campaign, with Kennedy endorsing Trump for a second term. Shanahan has accused the Democratic Party of sabotaging their campaign, pointing to the DNC-aligned Clear Choice PAC, which she claims was created specifically to take them out. The campaign faced numerous obstacles, including shadowbanning, lawsuits, and internal sabotage.

Shanahan’s statements reflect a broader concern about the integrity of the justice system and its use in politically charged cases. Her shift in perspective and vocal support for Trump highlight the growing divide over the fairness of legal proceedings against high-profile political figures in the current environment.
