Trump Calls Out House Panel for Creating ‘Fake Narrative’ With January 6 Hearings

Former President Donald Trump called out the House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021 unrest at the Capitol in a series of posts on his Truth Social app on Sunday.

Posting on his alternative social media app, Trump was anything but subtle while roasting the House panel, which is made up of seven Democrats and two RINOs — Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL).

“The highly partisan Unselects are trying to create a FAKE narrative, for whatever reason but only with evil intention, that ‘He (me) knew he lost the Election,’” the former president wrote.

“This is completely false. I felt the Election was RIGGED & STOLEN, have from the very beginning, & have only gotten stronger in that belief with time & large amounts of additional evidence and proof. In my mind I have, & HAVE HAD, NO QUESTION, and MANY people would be willing to so attest, but the Unselects don’t want to hear them,” Trump added.

Soon after that, the former president sent out another post, which simply read: “WITCH HUNT!”

Trump later added one final criticism of the House’s January 6 hearings, pointing out the bias of the Democrat-run committee which refused to allow a single true Republican member to join, and has so far appeared to refuse to hear any evidence that doesn’t make Republicans look bad.

“I have sooo many witnesses to everything good, but the highly partisan and one-sided Unselect Committee of political hacks has no interest in hearing or seeing them. This Witch Hunt could all be ended quickly if they did!” he wrote.

Trump has been busy as of late, spending time out on the campaign trail for America-First candidates running in primaries across the country and preparing for midterm elections in November. Despite his busy schedule, the former president still finds time to send out his signature tweet-style messages on his Truth Social app.

After his attacks on the January 6 panel, Trump went on to call out Rep. Adam Schiff (D-NY), Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, and the Democrats in general.

In one post, he pointed out that the left is attempting to throw any possible attack at him because his poll numbers are so high, likely out of concern that he could win the presidency again in 2024.

“I am leading in every poll, by a lot, and the Democrats are doing everything they can to change that, even if it’s another Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, Mueller Scam, Impeachment waste of time, or whatever. The same lying people saying the same kind of thing. I only want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump wrote.

He went on to comment on a past ‘scandal’ that the Democrats attempted to attack him for.

“My phone call to the Georgia Secretary of State, with many other people, including numerous lawyers, knowingly on the line, was absolutely PERFECT and appropriate. YES, it was a PERFECT CALL (and so was the second call for which the Washington Post was forced to do a major, and somewhat embarrassing, retraction). Thank you!” Trump added.
