President Donald Trump, speaking at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, has accused federal authorities of knowing the source of the mysterious drones spotted in New Jersey but refusing to share the information.
Trump’s remarks came as concerns about the drones continue to grow. “The military knows where they took off from. If it’s a garage, they can go into that garage. They know exactly where it came from,” he said. Trump criticized officials for staying quiet, saying, “For some reason, they don’t want to tell the people.”
The drones, which have been sighted near Trump’s Bedminster golf course, have sparked speculation and unease among residents. Trump referenced their location, saying, “They’re very close to Bedminster. Maybe I’ll skip spending the weekend there.”
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has insisted there is no immediate danger but admitted the origins of the drones remain a mystery.
Since our government doesn’t have any info on these SUV sized drones over New Jersey, do any of you have any idea who’s behind this? pic.twitter.com/rdsDKQJS1l

Trump dismissed any suggestion that the drones belong to an enemy force, saying, “If it was an enemy, they’d handle it quickly.” He added, “Something odd is happening here, and the government should be honest with the people.”
The situation has left residents frustrated as the federal response offers little clarity. Trump’s remarks have fueled growing demands for answers about the unusual drone activity in New Jersey.
🚨Drones allegedly reported last night near the Capitol Building caused me to take a look at current NOTAMs.
This is undoubtedly being done purposely by our own State
department.
There’s recent NOTAMs in place that even specify rules for UAS. The one in Bedminster, over Trumps… pic.twitter.com/BkqzzvFgLF— Still🏝️Roaming (@roaming_rn) December 15, 2024
