Trump Supporters Endure Long Waits And Freezing Temperatures At Victory Rally

Supporters of President Donald Trump packed the streets surrounding Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. on Saturday for his final rally before Inauguration Day. The crowd faced freezing temperatures, long waits and significant confusion due to poor event planning.

Doors reportedly opened at 11 a.m., with President Donald Trump scheduled to speak at 5 p.m. Supporters, eager to hear him speak, stood in disorganized lines that stretched for blocks with no clear signage or directions provided.

The event, managed under Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, quickly fell into chaos. Attendees encountered unclear barricades and fencing, which forced them to navigate a confusing path with little assistance from authorities.

Despite the heavy police presence, officers were seen standing idly, providing no clear direction or crowd control. Many attendees expressed frustration as they attempted to navigate the crowded streets with little guidance.

Weather conditions added to the challenges. Rain turned into hail before becoming a full snowstorm, leaving supporters standing in freezing conditions while struggling to find their way into the venue.

Even with the disarray and severe weather, the rally drew a massive crowd of enthusiastic supporters who celebrated President Donald Trump’s hard-fought victory, braving the elements to show their unwavering support.
