Trump’s Plan To Reform Colleges Targets Leftist Bias And Rising Costs

President Donald Trump has revealed a sweeping plan to overhaul the American higher education system, aiming to end leftist bias on college campuses and reduce tuition costs. The reforms promise to refocus universities on their primary mission of educating students and preparing them for successful careers.

A centerpiece of Trump’s plan is a reform of the college accreditation system, which he says has allowed schools to prioritize political agendas over academic excellence. Trump pledged to fire radical accreditors and replace them with organizations committed to maintaining high standards and fiscal accountability.

The proposal includes measures to cut administrative waste and remove Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, which Trump described as promoting Marxist ideologies. These changes, he argues, will help control tuition costs while refocusing resources on students.

Trump also called for entrance and exit exams to ensure students are gaining the skills they need to succeed. Enhanced career services and job placement programs would be mandatory under his plan, making higher education a more valuable investment for students and families.

The plan takes a hard line on racial discrimination in universities, with Trump vowing to prosecute schools engaging in unlawful equity-based practices. Institutions found violating civil rights laws could face massive fines, with a portion of the funds redistributed to victims of discrimination.

“Colleges should be places of learning, not indoctrination,” Trump said. “We’re going to bring back real education, protect free speech, and make our universities serve the American people again.”
