Unvaccinated Tennis Player Who Faced Discrimination Welcomed in Serbia

Governments have widely discriminated against people who chose to forgo the COVID shot. Being a champion tennis player, Novak Djokovic did not receive special treatment from the global coronavirus hysteria.

However, his home country of Serbia welcomed him back with open arms after he won his 7th Wimbledon Tennis Championship.

After taking home the sport’s most prestigious title, the excitement also brought on the remembrance of the discrimination Djokovic faced.

Last year, the tennis champ was barred from playing in the Australian Open because he chose not to receive the COVID shot. But, instead of giving in to the pressure, Djokovic stayed firm in his beliefs.

After his fourth straight Wimbledon win, he made it clear that he had not changed his mind on the matter.

“I’m not vaccinated and I’m not planning to get vaccinated so the only good news I can have is them removing the mandated green vaccine card or whatever you call it to enter United States or exemption,” Djokovic said Sunday. “I don’t know. I don’t think exemption is realistically possible. If that is possibility, I don’t know what exemption would be about.

“I don’t know. I don’t have much answers there.”

Australian authorities actually detained him for his refusal to have his body injected with a substance he did not want.

The 35-yea-old will not be granted a visa by the tyrant country of Australia. But he is hoping the United States will allow him to play. However, it seems unlikely that the U.S. will allow this due to rules that unvaccinated people cannot enter the once-free country.

Luckily, Serbia does not seem to focus on his vaccination status but rather appreciates his talent. Thousands of people welcomed the athlete who put his morals above oppressive restrictions.

“Thousands of people came tonight to greet one of the greatest Serbian athletes of all time,” the Twitter account Based Serbia posted. The account also called him “a national hero who would rather risk his career than submit to the NWO.”

As bodily autonomy continues to be stripped, people like Djokovic show the importance of standing for freedom of choice – regardless of what it might cost.
