Platner has not denied writing the posts. The Maine Monitor noted that across the archive Platner repeatedly wrote about opposing fascism and Nazism, and said there was nothing to suggest allegiance to those ideologies.^[3] Supporters may point to that as evidence that he is not a radical extremist.
