With the 2024 presidential election nearing, Democrats are panicking as it has become clear that former voters of President Joe Biden do not support the president anymore, with comedian Charlamagne Tha God expressing discontent with the Democratic Party’s failed strategy to demonize conservatives.
During an interview with ABC News, the comedian explained one of the reasons why the leftist media’s attempts to portray former President Donald Trump as a “threat to democracy” have been ignored by Americans.
“You can’t keep saying there’s a threat to democracy and democracy as we know it is going to be gone, but not act like it,” Charlamagne Tha God told ABC News host Jon Karl, who responded, “Right.”
The comedian then pointed out that Democrats have constantly “demonized” every Republican running for office.
“And the other problem is they’ve always done this with every single Republican candidate. Since I have been alive, whoever the Republican candidate has been gets demonized. It doesn’t matter who it is. It doesn’t matter if it’s John McCain, it doesn’t matter if it’s, you know, Mitt Romney, it doesn’t matter who it is,” he said.
Charlamagne Tha God then said that since Democrats have consistently attacked Republican individuals running for office, Americans don’t believe he left’s claims that Trump threaten democracy.
“They will demonize the Republican candidate and now that there’s a actual, legitimate threat, right there in our faces, they’re like— they’re like The Party Who Cried Wolf. Nobody believes them,” he said.

The radio host later spoke about Biden’s old age and declining mental health, which struck Karl.
Charlamagne Tha God was asked if he believed Trump would defeat Biden in the 2024 election. In response, he issued a scathing rebuke of the former president, claiming he tried to overthrow the federal government. Such claims, of course, aren’t true.
The comedian said that based on the former president’s actions, Biden should easily be able to emerge victorious in the forthcoming election. Yet, polls show the opposite. As such, the comedian argued that the president should step aside and let someone else run against Trump.
“But when you have a candidate like President Biden who the polls are, you know, saying has the lowest approval rating ever, and, you know, he’d lose to a general election in a Trump — that’s scary,” Charlamagne Tha God said.
