In a stark revelation, author Peter Schweizer pointed out in his latest book that the Black Lives Matter (BLM) riots in the summer of 2020, among others, were organized in many cases by members of radical Chinese-linked organizations.
Schweizer’s book, “Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans,” points out how a number of the riots by far-left activists against police brutality in the U.S. were orchestrated by groups funded and supported by the Chinese government.
One of the China-linked groups is the Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO), supported by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Riots and protests have erupted in high-profile cases, including after the deaths of Black teenagers Trayvon Martin in Florida in 2012 and Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014. Notably, an organizer of protests in Ferguson was the leader of the Organization for Black Struggle (OBS), Montague Simmons.
Simmons would eventually deliver a presentation that led over 10,000 activists to join the protests in Ferguson, according to Breitbart News. He was reportedly affiliated with Liberation Road — an organization developed off FRSO. Leftist author Max Elbaum wrote that the Chinese organization has taken “their cues from Beijing.”
In his book, Schweizer wrote that beginning with Ferguson, FRSO activists played a major role in the forthcoming years in calling for violence during protests.
Shortly after the death of longtime criminal George Floyd in May 2020, BLM activists descended across the U.S. to call for an end to police brutality. It appears that these wide-scale protests were organized by FRSO members.
Weeks following Flod’s death in Minneapolis, Minnesota, FRSO political secretary Steff Yorek’s wife, Jess Sundin, boasted about orchestrating night rallies and emptying police stations and retail stores, such as Target.
“I can’t tell you the joy it brought all of us to see the Third Precinct destroyed,” Sundin said.
Breitbart News reported that FRSO member Michael Sampson organized a protest in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2020 and the organization was involved in rioting in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
FRSO openly vowed to support the CCP during its 20th National Congress, writing in a message that it “congratulates the leadership of the Communist Party of China.”
FRSO isn’t the only Chinese-linked group that has spurred violence out of protests.
Since Ferguson, an organization called the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) has been actively involved in spurring violence across America.
PSL leader Eugene Puryear from Washington, D.C., reportedly organized protests in Minneapolis, Philadelphia and D.C. following Floyd’s death. He has praised the CCP and held a podcast titled “Why China Will Win: Capitalism Inherently Collapses.”
